Brick is a precious building material. In India fired-clay bricks are produced in traditional, organised small scale industries. Indian brick industry is the second largest brick producer in the world. The industry is one of the largest employment generating industries. The main requirement to develop a brick field soil is the main raw material, clay.

Our kilns are strategically located to ease the procurement of raw-material, labor & transportation. We have two modern brick kilns M/s. Babu Bhagawat Singh located in Village - Panchaghara, PO - Jagannathpur, Dist - North 24 Parganas - 700126, West Bengal and M/s. Boalghata Brick Supply located in Rkm-Astha-Bbs Road, Majlishpur (Boalghata) 743423, West Bengal.

The brick manufacturing process in both our kilns is traditional yet technologically advance. The raw material procured is first tested and then only put through the manufacturing process.

The clay is then mixed with water to get the right consistency for molding. A lump of mix is taken rolled on sand and shaped into the mold. Sand is used so the brick does not stick to the mold.

The mold is emptied into the drying area, where the bricks are arranged in a herringbone pattern to dry in the sun. After two weeks, they are ready to be burnt. The bricks are arranged in a kiln and insulation is provided with mud pack. Fire holes left to ignite the kiln area are later sealed to keep the heat inside. This is maintained for a week. After the kiln is disassembled, the bricks are sorted according to color and are ready for transportation in Lorries, trucks & mini-trucks.
